i give everyone a moniker in my blog. even my cat has one. i feel that it’s my part in keeping the people i love safe. it also keeps me safe… from them. ha ha ha.
i choose the monikers very carefully. i make all my decisions with deliberate undecisiveness… i mean, consideration.
take my own moniker for example: you may ask “why are you called eiji, eiji?”
and i am proud to explain “because although i really wanted to be cool like tezuka, or cunning like fuji; although i wanted to be beautiful like wolfram, or courageous like yuri; although i thought maybe i could be steady like iruka, or hoped i might be a genius like shikamaru; although i thought it would be fun to be dramatic like tamaki or at least practical like haru; although i really wanted to be someone else because it seemed far more exciting than being me… that’s who i turned out to be.”
but there are good things about being me too. i’m happy a lot and i have a lot of energy (although it doesn’t necessarily mean i get things done). and there is always something wonderful to fall in love with.
